Hi there, I’m Erica!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I’m the creator of Embrace Everyplace, LLC. I offer mobile massage & bodywork in your home or vacation rental in beautiful Central Oregon. I travel throughout Sunriver, Bend, and Redmond primarily, but am happy to discuss other locations!
My love for massage came at the age of 7 when my mom started taking me to get massages with her. I started paying attention to what the therapists were doing with their hands and I would give my mom massages at home. She even started paying me as I got older! She knew I had a gift. I didn’t quite know I had a gift yet.
Fast forward to 2020. It seems like a weird, twilight zone blur, doesn’t it? Due to COVID, like many people, I got laid off from my full-time job in the vacation rental industry for a month. I did A LOT of self reflection during that time. Anyone else? I realized, if life can shut down at the drop of a hat (or virus), why am I not chasing my dreams? The dream that kept coming up for me…massage. So, during a time of masks and 6 feet distances, I made the crazy decision to go to massage school. Immediately, I knew I was right where I was meant to be.
I have worked at a resort spa and have a love for the relaxing luxuries of massage. This is why you’ll find things like sugar scrubs and essential oils on my menu. In addition, I have a love for and have studied reiki, breathwork, sound healing, and plant medicine, so I also bring an element of spirituality to my offerings. There’s an element of bodywork that can invoke deep mind, body, soul alignment & healing and that’s what I find most beautiful about it. And with a background in customer service, I have a deep care and concern for my clients and their healing and alignment.
If you’ve read this far, thank you, from the bottom of my heart! The name Embrace Everyplace was simply a thought I had about our need to embrace every place we encounter in our lives; physical places, emotional places, mental places. Life can be hard, but there’s always meaning in every place, even if we can’t see it at the time. Shortly after this thought, I had the dream of combining my work in the vacation rental industry with my love for massage. So here we are: embracing every vacation rental or home by setting up space for massage and healing. Truly a dream!
